About the Role The Transport Asset Spatial Lead oversees and supports spatial technology for the Victorian Transport Digital Engineering Program. This includes migrating public transport infrastructure data to an integrated Transport Spatial Platform (TSP) and Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) using ESRI ArcGIS on Azure Cloud. Advanced expertise in ESRI ArcGIS and FME is essential, with knowledge of BIM infrastructure, 3D modelling, drawing management, and IBM Maximo preferred. The role involves close collaboration with Digital Engineering Leads across various disciplines.
Technical Leadership and Specialisation: Provide expert knowledge on DTP's spatial solutions, offering strategic input into business requirements and projects to maximise the value of integrated data sets. Maintain and share specialist knowledge to drive organisational goals. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction by integrating feedback into operational improvements and aligning processes with their needs. Continuous Improvement: Enhance team performance by transitioning to consistent spatial data platforms and improving data integration, enabling smarter decision-making and increased organisational synergies. The Department of Transport and Planning seeks a Transport Asset Spatial Lead to manage and optimise Victoria's transport spatial technology. Central to the Victorian Transport Digital Engineering Program, you'll lead the transition to a cutting-edge cloud-based platform using ESRI ArcGIS.
