What does the job look like? Join our Retail team as a PM Transport Allocator based in Eastern Creek, NSW, where you'll play a key role in overseeing transport operations for one of Australia's largest supermarket chains. In this hands-on role, you'll manage allocations, route planning, and dispatching metropolitan deliveries to ensure smooth and efficient shift operations. You'll work 12-hour shifts from 4 PM to 4 AM on a 3-2-2-3 rotating roster. Apply now to be part of a team driving success in a dynamic environment!
Key areas: Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions while fostering positive relationships. Maintain accurate documentation and records related to run sheets, delivery schedules, and compliance requirements. Ensure regular communication with customers, keeping them well-informed about their scheduled deliveries or any changes that may impact them. Participate and commit to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times.Are you the one? We're seeking seasoned transport professionals with experience in scheduling/allocation or relevant operations, offering training and support for the ideal candidate. You can demonstrate:
Experience in transport load planning, driver or fleet allocating is highly regarded, but not essential – a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key. Intermediate to advanced computer skills – experience with TMS is highly regarded. Strong geographical knowledge of the Sydney metro area. Highly organised with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in high-pressure environments.
