Based at our Dandenong South Facility the Transport Administrator will help in supporting all logistical operations of company and contractor vehicles. The position will be responsible for administering regulatory compliance for all aspects of collection and recycling disposal activities. You will be responsible for administering schedules for routes in accordance with customer requirements, schedule necessary maintenance and coordinate pick ups/drop offs in the most cost efficient way.
Key responsibilities Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, you will administer all transport activities whilst ensuring systems are in effectively managed. You will help to administer the systems and procedures to drive operational efficiency, whilst ensuring schedules are correct and delivery requirements of both internal and external customers are met.
Scheduling of APR, sub-contractor and 3rd party vehicles. Administration of sub-contractor services Route optimisation implementation Sub-contractor compliance administration Management of training records  Administering the APR onboard computer system Processing of contractor run sheets Customer site reviews Associated administrative tasks The successful applicant will have previous experience in attention to detail, dynamic workplace as well as:
Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders using well developed written and verbal communicationMinimum 2 year in similar role, preferred but not essential.Be prepared to 'get your hands dirty' obtaining the information you need for your role.Have good attention to detail whilst maintaining quality.High level problem solving capabilities.Be able to prioritise and time manage.Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Word/Outlook).Knowledge of the recycling industry would be advantageous, but is not essential.We can offer the successful candidate the opportunity to make this role their own, and to continue to grow with the business.
