As a Transformation Delivery Manager, you will lead a cross-functional team to deliver business and technology programs using Agile, hybrid, and Waterfall methodologies.
Your focus will be on achieving desired business outcomes while partnering with key business teams to ensure successful implementation.
This critical role involves engaging with both internal and external business partners and coordinating complex initiatives across multiple teams, value streams, and delivery domains.
Please note this is a permanent Full-Time role with a temporary duration of 6 to 12 months. Your day in the life of a Transformation Delivery Manager at Optus Lead and deliver complex transformational change initiatives within the Optus consumer division, ensuring value is realised on time and to high standards using various delivery methodologies.Coordinate initiatives that may include business improvement, colleague, and customer experience enhancements, as well as digital and technology projects.Achieve desired business outcomes by maintaining strong project governance and collaborating closely with key stakeholders, sponsors, squad members, and business leads.Articulate and represent strategically aligned team plans at the portfolio and program levels.Identify and manage delivery risks, develop mitigation strategies, and support change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new or enhanced capabilities across multiple teams and programs.Manage sophisticated dependencies across the enterprise, including interactions with other programs of work.Complete all required status reports punctually and to a high standard; facilitate executive program steering committees as needed.Participate in, and at times facilitate, quarterly planning sessions, ceremonies, stand-ups, and retrospectives.Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and develop robust business arguments to gain vital commercial and business owner approvals.Supervise program finances and budgets, including monthly forecasting and reporting.Foster knowledge sharing and collaboration across multiple teams and programs.Your skills to pay the bills Proven track record to deliver medium to large-scale and complex initiatives using a variety of delivery methodologies.Strong program delivery, governance, and reporting skills; proficient in MS products and digital tools such as Jira and Confluence.
