About the roleAs a Transformation Analyst with TAFE SA, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our change and business initiatives. You will coordinate and lead the development, delivery, and review of complex business analysis and transformation programs. Your mission is to map, understand, and improve existing business processes, bringing about meaningful change through innovation.

In this role, you will function as a consultant for various transformation projects, guiding them through the entire project lifecycle - from requirement gathering to user acceptance testing and traceability. You will have the opportunity to shape how new technologies are integrated into the business, ensuring that they enhance productivity and foster more efficient ways of working.

Essential to this role:

Highly proficient in data process and business analysis:

Documenting and improving processes and using process maps and journey maps, based on different personas, to identify and analyse business challenges and evaluate solutions from the view of the customer.

Extensive experience in change management:

Proven track record in coordinating, delivering, and evaluating business analysis and change management programs for transformational ICT initiatives, while building strong, customer-centric relationships with BAU, project teams, and stakeholders in complex settings.

Expertise in project methodologies:

In-depth experience and up-to-date knowledge of project methodologies such as Agile Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall (PRINCE2), along with a solid understanding of organisational change management theories, practices, and government policies (including TAFE SA procedures).

Analytical problem solver:

Demonstrated ability to identify, research and analyse complex problems at system, process and people layers. Proven ability to formulate and implement flexible solutions to deliver the best outcomes for business, users and the organisation.

Self-motivated and outcome-driven:

Demonstrated ability to manage tasks under minimal guidance, using sound judgment to prioritise tasks and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outcomes and within tight deadlines.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills:

Skilled at interpersonal, written, and oral communication, with a significant capacity to influence and create trust with stakeholders and staff at all levels. Adept in negotiating outcomes and presenting clear, audience-appropriate reports and recommendations.

Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal Culture and Community.

Special ConditionsThe successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).

Some out of hour's work may be required.

Some intra/interstate travel and overnight absences may be required.

Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Development Program.
