Kick Start Your Career with BGT About the Role The role of the Training Manager is to effectively manage and develop the organisation's training department.
The role will establish key strategies to maximise income generation, efficiencies, quality systems and processes to produce a viable and well-functioning business unit.
The role will require understanding of the need for continuous improvement and a well-established, proven knowledge of the VRQA standards and relevant regulatory bodies.
As the Training Manager, you will need to ensure compliance with all relevant government, funding, industry and organisational quality requirements and frameworks.
This role will form part of BGT's leadership team where the Training Manager will provide significant input and insight into the broader activities of BGT's business and develop productive relationships across departments.
Applicants Must Have: TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Degree or relevant qualification in Business, Management or Training Recent Satisfactory Police Check Current Working with Children's Check Current Australian Driver's Licence To Be Successful in the Role You Must Address the Following Key Selection Criteria: Demonstrated high level of experience and achievement in the contemporary management of training programs.
Relevant experience in a similar role, with at least five years practical experience. Demonstrated high level of understanding of how RTOs operate, with extensive knowledge of VRQA, AQTF and training package requirements. Proven ability to write business cases and proposals, manage budgets, and use financial reporting, forecasting and planning skills. Demonstrated experience in strategic and business planning to increase efficiencies, streamline work practices and ensure viability. Proven team management experience with a strong track record of building, motivating and engaging staff to achieve positive results. Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, including highly developed written communication skills and the ability to effectively advise, consult and negotiate with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Must have or willing to obtain a fit and proper person declaration.
