We are seeking a Training Coordinator for our client who provides traffic escort services for industry oversize and over-mass loads across Perth and Regional WA.
Title: Training Coordinator (Traffic Escort Services)
Rate: $54 per hour plus Super
Location: Redcliffe, WA
Hours: Full-time – 38 hours per week
Duration: 6 months
Type: Temporary casual contract (no leave entitlements – casual loading included in rate)
Travel: Penalty rates and allowances are paid for occasional overtime and travel to regional WA involving overnight stays.
DUTIES Develop, update, and maintain section training program(s). Coordinate the delivery of training programs to effectively deliver agreed outcomes. Identify current and future training needs through evaluating strengths and weaknesses of the traffic escort wardens. Prepare training session plans as required. Develop instructional materials, aids, and manuals to complement training program. Assist in the development and delivery of online e-learning packages. REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, OR EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL: Ability to use initiative in problem solving and decision making. Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form. Ability to develop technical knowledge and understand legislation. Ability to operate a personal computer/laptop and knowledge of Microsoft Office. Provision of customer focused service. DESIRABLE: Knowledge of Policies and Practices on Occupational Safety and Health, EEO, diversity and equity. Knowledge of the State Road Network. Pre-employment Requirements Current C Class Driver's Licence. Full working rights within Australia. Current National Police Clearance (or able to obtain if successful).
