About Us: Newton Moore Education Support Centre (ESC) is seeking to establish a pool of Vocational Trainers and Assessors for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Newton Moore ESC is an Independent Public School nestled in the thriving and idyllic coastal City of Bunbury, WA. The Centre is specifically designed to meet the needs of Years 7 to 12 students with intellectual disabilities. We offer a caring, respectful, small school environment where all students participate and actively engage in all facets of school life.
We are looking for Vocational Trainer and Assessors to join our friendly and collaborative team. Newton Moore ESC recognises the need for our Upper School students to experience a professional work environment.
The Role: We are looking for Trainer and Assessors who can lead in our community work centres, preferably with trade knowledge and skill.
In addition to these attributes, suitable applicants will have the knowledge and skills to contribute to the establishment of an exceptional Education Support program. Key elements of this program include:
Engaging, enthusing and challenging students. Classroom management and positive behaviour support (PBS). Incorporating technology where possible. Accommodating individual student needs. Providing timely social and academic feedback to students and parents. Caring for the whole student. Celebrating curiosity and creativity.
