As we continue our journey to be the builder of choice, we are doubling-down on the development of our people.THE OPPORTUNITYThe Training and Development Specialist will directly contribute to AHB Group's mission by ensuring employees are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and tools required to deliver exceptional customer experiences. By enhancing employee education on business systems, construction processes, and people mechanisms, this role ensures that AHB Group's workforce remains its greatest asset.This is a full-time role based in our Derrimut Head Office. Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 5.00pm.Key Responsibilities:Onboarding and Induction:Design, implement, and continuously improve the onboarding and induction processes to ensure new employees are set up for success.Coordinate and deliver engaging induction sessions, introducing employees to AHB Group's culture, systems, and processes.Conduct regular reviews and updates of induction content to reflect business changes, industry standards, and employee feedback.Documentation of SOPs:Collaborate with business units to document and standardize SOPs across all functions.Maintain a central repository for SOPs and ensure they are easily accessible and up-to-date.Regularly review and refine documented procedures to ensure alignment with operational and industry best practices.Training Development and Delivery:Partner with leaders across departments to identify training needs and gaps.Develop tailored training programs, materials, and modules for employees at various levels.Deliver training sessions in both group and one-on-one settings, ensuring engagement and knowledge retention.Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:Build strong relationships with business unit leaders to understand operational challenges and align training initiatives with business goals.Serve as a resource for managers and team leaders, offering guidance on employee development plans.Stay abreast of industry trends, ensuring AHB Group remains competitive in its training and development offerings.ABOUT YOU:Strong communicator (Presentation, Written and Verbal)Strong stakeholder management skillsProven experience in training and developmentDemonstrated experience in developing training materials and deliveryProcess and systems drivenExperience in creating meaningful onboarding and induction programmesExperience with LMS (we don't have one yet - this role will implement one)Residential Construction experience will be highly regardedWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?An opportunity to do meaningful workAmazing leadershipThriving and growing company with a major pipeline of future workLegendary-level company eventsAn opportunity to take on a greenfield Training and Development challengeWork with real people doing extraordinary thingsDerrimut (western suburbs) location.
