Training Advisor | 6 Month Contract | Fifo Ex Perth

ConsMin produces some of the world's highest grade manganese ore and is considered a world lead in manganese production.
Our ConsMin's Australian operation (Woodie Woodie) is based in the WA Pilbara 407kms south-east of Port Hedland.
Our camp facility boasts two gyms, a swimming pool, maintained field and a brand new recreational space.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HME Training Advisor to join our HST Team.
Reporting to the Senior Training Advisor, the successful applicant will be required to:  Deliver skills, knowledge and training in line with site requirements to achieve a safe and competent workforce; Focus on our Load & Haul 'greenies' learning to operate our 777G Cat haul trucks; Assist in the management and upkeep of the trainee training matrix; Support site needs and schedule individual assessments and training plans in line with the training matrix; Assist in managing the training system – InTuition (INX); Facilitate training needs analysis (TNA's) across the trainee program; Supporting the implementation key learning and development projects; and Display a high level of operational competency in Heavy Mining Equipment.
Our broader mining fleet consists of Cat Excavators (6020), Cat Graders (16M), Dozers (D10T-2 & 854K), Loaders (988K/980/950) Dump Trucks (777G), Water Carts (777), and various other supporting machines.
We are looking for someone who is:  Competent and proficient in operation of the above machines, specifically Caterpillar 777G Haul Trucks; Capable of working with limited supervision in a mining environment; Has a Certificate IV TAE (Trainer and Assessor); Strongly committed to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures; and Displays a strong knowledge of legislative requirements related to Safety & Training.
Applicants must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical, provide a clean NPC (dated within the last 6 months (or able to obtain) and provide valid references.
