About the role .
As the Packing Trainer, you'll provide support to ensure our Packing Room Operators are fully trained and equipped to operate machinery at peak performance.
By contributing to the development and delivery of training programs, reviewing essential documentation, and supporting the frontline leadership team, you will help drive safety, quality, and productivity across the site.
This is a full time, salaried role based in Ballarat, VIC.
Ensuring all Packing Room Operators are trained so the equipment operates at the optimum level to produce a finished product of the specified quality within specified timeframes.
Participate in and deliver training and assessment to all areas of the Packing Room.
Review documentation and support updates, and/or revisions to Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Visual Standard Works & Best Operating Practices.
Support the frontline leadership team to ensure safety, quality, cost and delivery metrics are met or exceeded Leadership Principles .

About you .
Qualifications: Knowledge and experience of manufacturing - understanding production processes, products and packaging (desirable) Experience preparing and delivering training materials (desirable) Skills: Proven ability to engage, interact, influence, and build relationships with stakeholders across the business.
Effective verbal communication including the ability to prepare and present findings and recommendations to address and manage a broad range of people and issues Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrating initiative and logic Well-developed written communication, report-writing, and record-keeping skills with attention to detail Ability to interpret and follow guidelines, policies, procedures, industrial agreements, instruments, and relevant legislations Proven ability to work autonomously, being flexible and able to prioritise workload in a demanding environment.
