Be part of the Higher Education sector as a Comms and Training Coordinator It is a 6 month contract, offering up to $600 inc super Location: Melbourne, CBD - Hybrid work arrangement About the Role As the Communications and Training Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful adoption of a new ERP system across the university.
You will work closely with Change Managers, Communications Specialists, and other key stakeholders to deliver clear, engaging, and impactful communication and training initiatives.
What you will do Collaborate with the Change Management team to design and deliver communication strategies that support the ERP program.
Develop and distribute engaging communication materials, including emails, newsletters, presentations, and intranet content.
Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and delivery of training sessions for various user groups across the university.
Manage training logistics, including booking venues, coordinating facilitators, and distributing training materials.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communications and training initiatives, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Maintain stakeholder engagement by ensuring timely updates and addressing any concerns related to communications and training.
Assist with the development of user guides, FAQs, and other resources to support end-user adoption.
What you have done You are a proactive and organised professional with exceptional communication and coordination skills.
You have experience working in large-scale change projects, ideally within the higher education sector, and are comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a communications, training, or change coordination role, preferably within an ERP implementation or large-scale transformation project.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and engaging content.
Experience in coordinating and delivering training programs to diverse audiences.
Strong project coordination skills, including the ability to manage timelines, resources, and stakeholders effectively.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with communication platforms (e.g., SharePoint, MS Teams, email marketing tools).
Knowledge of change management frameworks and principles (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci) is desirable.
Experience working in higher education or a large, complex organisation is advantageous.
