Note that this role requires a high degree of mobility as training can be delivered off-campus at client locationsMultiSkills Training is a leading registered training organisation (RTO), providing Civil Construction/ Rigging courses and WorkSafe High-Risk Work licences to employees and job seekers in Victoria. In addition, MultiSkills delivers a broad range of employer-specific, Verification of Competency (VOC) and bespoke training to our industry-based clients. With some of the highest completion rates in the industry and a brand known for high-quality training, MultiSkills operates across two campuses - Werribee & Moolap. We have a great culture and are looking for experienced and professional Construction/ Earthmoving Trainers and Assessors to join our team.We are on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Civil Construction/ Earthmoving specialist, who can teach and assess against the following topics: Civil Ground Works Work @ Heights Confined Spaces Construction Induction (White Card) Traffic Management Elevated Work Platforms/ Scissor Lift Electrical Spotters First Aid/ CPR Excavator Front End Loader Backhoe Loader Skid Steer Loader Dump Trucks Roller Dozer (desirable) Grader (desirable) Scrapers (desirable) Crushers & Screeners (desirable) The Role:The position is full-time however we are open to discussion regarding a roster that suits you. We have a range of days available for teaching between 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. Weekend work may also be available.About You:We are looking for professional educators with fantastic people skills, a proven specialist earthmoving background, with a passion for sharing learnings with others. You may be a great fit if you have the following: A can-do attitude and an upbeat personality Ability to multitask in a busy RTO environment Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously when required Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines with excellent problem-solving and organisational skills Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Demonstrate solid experience as a Trainer/ Assessor and hold current industry skills Key responsibilities:Deliver engaging and relevant training & assessment services (combined theory and practical activities) Ensure content and delivery of accredited courses meets ASQA/ RTO Standards and other applicable regulations Supervise students' behaviours and provide engaging and motivating training Maintain equipment, training venues and training aids to ensure they are serviceable, clean, tidy, and safe for operation Travel may be required to deliver training off-site Perform other general duties as required Essential criteria: Hold a Cert IV TAE (and upgrade units if required) Demonstrated workplace experience within the construction/ civil, resources & infrastructure or training sectors Be eligible to obtain a Working Children Check Card and a Police Check You will need to be an Australian Resident Must hold valid Australian Drivers Licence Competitive pay ($110k + Super) with a $5k sign-on bonus Caring and collaborative work environment Access to digital tools and other supportive resources to ensure a positive teaching experience Professional development opportunities Salary sacrificing #J-18808-Ljbffr
