Skylar, a leading provider of safety training and assessment solutions int eh Wind industry, is seeking a motivated and experienced Trainer Assessor to join our dynamic team. As a Trainer Assessor, you will play a crucial role in delivering nationally recognised courses and the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) course to our diverse range of clients in the industry.
Responsibilities: Conducting training sessions and assessments for nationally recognised courses in various safety disciplines, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Delivering the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) training modules to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge for working safely in the wind energy sector.Developing training materials, including presentations, handouts, and practical exercises, to facilitate effective learning experiences.Tailoring training programs to meet the specific needs of different clients and industries, while adhering to Skylar's high-quality standards.Providing comprehensive feedback and assessments to participants, highlighting areas for improvement and promoting continuous learning.Collaborating with the Training Manager and other team members to enhance existing training programs and develop new courses to meet market demands.Keeping up to date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure training content remains relevant and accurate.Qualifications: TAE40122 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent. Demonstrated experience as a Trainer Assessor, preferably in the safety industry.A strong understanding of nationally recognised courses in safety disciplines, such as First Aid, Confined Space Entry, Working at Heights, Vertical Rescue, Fire Safety, and others.Certification as a Global Wind Organisation (GWO) trainer, with experience delivering GWO training modules - Desirable but not essential as internal train the trainer process will be given. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants from diverse backgrounds.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively plan and deliver training sessions.A passion for safety and a commitment to promoting a culture of safety in the workplace.Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with a team, to achieve training objectives.A flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing client requirements and evolving training needs.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites when necessary.If you are a dedicated Trainer Assessor with a passion for safety training and the skills to deliver nationally recognized courses and the GWO course, we invite you to join our team at Skylar.
