About The Position Terra Mining are currently seeking an experienced Trainer & Assessor for projects in the Goldfields region, Western Australia.
Working as part of our diverse, dynamic, and driven team, you will support the design, development and delivery of training programs to build skills and competencies of mine operations employees to safely and effectively perform tasks associated with their roles.
Working an 8&6 roster, the Trainer & Assessor day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Providing training, assessment and verification of competency (VOC) services to mining operations personnel (employees and contractors), including operations, maintenance and other areas as required. Maintaining an up-to-date Training Needs Analysis and skills matrix for personnel within the site operations. Designing, maintaining and delivering inductions and onboarding programs to support Mining operations, as well as assisting in the facilitation of general surface inductions and onboarding when required. Facilitating the collection and storage of accurate training and assessment records. What You Will Bring Knowledge of Training & Assessment methods & techniques to AQTF standard. Proven competency in the operation of Integrated Tool carriers, Heavy earthmoving equipment. Demonstrable s experience in Open Pit mines. Demonstrate a high level of facilitation/presentation skills as well as flexibility in coaching and training techniques. Effective relationship-building and collaborative skills. Cert IV Training & Assessing TAE 40116 or higher. Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint Be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical including drug and alcohol testing Must have the right to work in Australia Current National Police Clearance, issued within the last twelve months What We Offer Long-term employment opportunities in a rapid growth company, where you are recognised for the contributions you make to the success of the business.
