Reporting to the Port Production Execution Supervisor at BMA Hay Point Terminal, as a Trainee Terminal Operator you will learn to be responsible for all production tasks in the terminal, train unloading, stacking, reclaiming through to ship loading and handling ships lines including mobile equipment Loader, Dozer and Excavator operation.
These roles are open to residents within the Mackay Region only at the BMA Hay Point Coal Terminal Site, working a lifestyle roster (2 days 2 nights 5 Off, 2 days 3 nights 4 off, 3 days 2 nights 5 off). There is no FIFO at this site. In undertaking this three-year traineeship you can expect hands-on industry-lead training and mentoring by BMA's talented workforce, first-rate working conditions, and a nationally recognised qualification - Cert III in Surface Extraction & Cert III Resource Processing.
