And that's where you come in.DescriptionHitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Trainee Site Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must be comfortable performing a wide range of tasks. The position is based in Brisbane, Australia.The primary purpose is to provide administrative support to the Construction and Testing and Commissioning teams.Key accountabilities:Maintain efficient filing and archiving system, coordinate site requests, and mobilization requests in accordance with organisation procedures and quality control frameworks.Manage procurement of PPE, purchase requisitions, and handle administrative tasks such as training coordination and stationery supplies.Contribute to the national rollout of competency databases and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Coordinating and taking minutes for all internal and external meetings – distributing and follow up actions.Managing project specific materials schedules and registers in accordance with procedures.Liaising with suppliers, raise & expedite purchase requisitions and deliveries to meet project schedules.Maintain staff rosters & Fatigue Management records.Supporting the weekly and monthly Project reporting requirements.Skills and experience:Interest in pursuing a Traineeship in Business or similar.Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.Demonstrated time management skills.Strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Understanding of administrative tasks and using software from the Microsoft Office suite.A keen interest in construction or engineering would be advantageous.At Hitachi Rail, we know that a diverse business is a sustainable business.
