You will have the opportunity towork and learn in our well-equipped branch. The branch services a broad range of industries including automotive, industrial, defence and power generation. This is an exciting and rewarding entry level career opportunity for someone who has a keen interest in the automotive industry.
Key duties and responsibilities of the position include: Learn to provide parts interpreting services and support to the Parts, Services and Sales Departments; Develop and apply administrative tasks, including invoicing, purchase order creation, parts procurement from external vendors when required, inventory receipting for direct ship orders; Parts sales with our customers, including promoting new products and services; Provide prompt and efficient service to walk in customers, telephone enquiries and email requests. The successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes: Completed Year 12 with passes in English and Mathematics; A passion for vehicles and the automotive industry; A willingness to work and learn on the job; Pride in completing jobs to a high standard; Good communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work in a team environment; Commitment to the full term of the traineeship.
