With a total of 200 beds and over 1,400 employees, a wide range of in-hospital (including but not limited to medical, surgical, paediatric, obstetric and gynaecology, mental health and oncology) aged care, community, disability and mental health services are offered at multiple locations across the region including Mount Gambier, Bordertown, Keith, Kingston, Lucindale, Millicent, Naracoorte and Penola.
LCLHN strategic plan (2021-2025) reflects a focus on local governance, performance excellence and collaborative partnerships.Reporting to the Director of Medical Services (DMS) at Mount Gambier and Districts Health Services (MGDHS), we offer an exciting opportunity for a senior Medical Administration Registrar to be based at Mount Gambier (population of 30,000).
This role will be reporting to the DMS and working closely with the Executive Director of Medical Services on strategic and operational matters and projects impacting the junior and senior medical workforce, clinical governance and research across the LCLHN.An ideal candidate would be a senior RACMA registrar with broad medical administration experience committed to pursuing the qualification of Fellow of the Australasian College of Medical Administrators, excellent communication skills, ability to develop and maintain effective collaborative relationships, strategic problem solving and decision making skills.
