In the role of Civil Construction or Maintenance Trainee, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of manual labour and small plant operations associated with the delivery of civil construction projects and maintenance tasks within our City.
undertake construction or maintenance labouring works including pipelines, manholes, gully pits, outlet structures and associated works in a safe manner in line with implemented processes and procedures.asphalt placement and compaction to roadways and bikeways, or restoration of these assets.laying and finishing concrete for kerb and channel, footpaths, bikeways and associated infrastructure including exposed aggregate, stencilled and stamped concretedeliver works to a high standard in line with relevant project specifications.What are we looking for from you The City is committed to developing skilled trainees and apprentices into future City leaders who:
