To excel in this position you will relish to opportunity to learn new skills and put into practice what you are taught in the classroom to become a professional train operator.
Please note if you are successful in obtaining a Rosewood trainee driver role you would be required to complete the training in Toowoomba.
24x7 rotating shift roster 365 days a year including nights, weekends and public holidays, Apply theoretical knowledge from training to practical operation, Work in accordance with Aurizon's safety and operational standards and procedures, Undertake Locomotive driver training and successfully complete modules within six months.
About you: ? All-encompassing focus on safety along with great interpersonal skills, Superior team work skills, Must be available to work 24/7 shift roster which includes nights, weekends and public holidays.
Current unrestricted Class C drivers licence, Be available to commence in 2025 and not have any prior commitments for the first 6-9 months of the training program.
