This position will suit a motivated entry level individual seeking to embark on a career within this field of expertise.Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor and with support and mentoring, you will be responsible for the testing of asphalt, aggregates & PMB to relevant standard methods in our NATA Laboratory. Including:Sampling and testing asphalt, aggregates and bitumen including onsite sampling.The handling and management of chemicals in line with relevant standards.Management of reporting, record keeping and calibrations including reporting non-conforming product.Conducting procedures safely and maintain good housekeeping of laboratory and surrounds.Providing technical support to production departments.To be successful in this position you will require the following skills/experience:Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines.Professional communication, written and interpersonal skills.Commitment to workplace safety, quality, punctuality, reliability, respect for others and to work as part of an efficient team.Valid Driver's Licence.Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques or willing to complete.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.This position will require you to work nightshift and weekends and may require travel.Want to be paid well for the Good Work you do?
