We're looking for an experienced Traffic Control Team Leader to join our team immediately.
In this role, you'll lead the charge in managing traffic control operations on-site, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians through disrupted areas, including roadworks and construction sites.
What You'll Be Doing: As a Traffic Control Team Leader, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Directing traffic around roadworks, building sites, maintenance activities, and accidents.
Setting up and taking down temporary road signs and traffic management equipment.
Ensuring pedestrian safety in areas with changed road conditions.
Communicating effectively with other traffic controllers and clients.
Enforcing safety regulations and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Working closely with traffic authorities, construction teams, and emergency services.
What We Need from You: A valid NSW Traffic Controller (TCR) Ticket and Implement Traffic Control Plans (IMP) Ticket.
A valid White Card.
Previous experience in a similar role.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including long pants, steel-cap boots, hard hat, and broad-brim hat (company shirt provided).
A 5-watt Radio and Traffic Control Bat.
A valid driver's license with the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
