Key Responsibilities:
Provide efficient and timely assistance to the team of tradespeople Perform Sand/Grit blasting on large components Adhere to the Hofmann Safety Management System Contribute to a culture committed to continuous improvement Perform general mechanical fitting tasks/duties Skills/Experience:
Bead/shot blasting experience would be advantageous Ability to read & interpret technical drawings would be advantageous Forklift and/or overhead crane ticket/s would also be advantageous Mechanically minded Takes pride in the quality of their work and is focused on results Mechanical trade background advantageous but not essential Painting & Surface Preparation knowledge/experience would be advantageous Additional qualifications would be highly regarded This role would be ideally suited to someone who has current or prior mechanical experience.
Training in workplace safety will be an ongoing process.
This position is for immediate start.
