Painting Trades Worker

Position: Painting Trades Worker Position Type : Full-Time Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation per annum Location: Truganina VIC 3029 Our client is seeking an experienced Painting Trades Worker to join their team located in Truganina, Victoria.
Duties and Responsibilities: Use the sandpaper/sand block to remove any uneven surfaces and crumbling paint flakes in the walls and timber frames.
Remove old paint and wallpaper, fix woodwork, fill holes and cracks and seal surfaces.
Apply paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprays for a clean and professional application.
Construct scaffolding and ladders and place drop sheets to prevent splatter.
Gapping the skirting board or architraves with normal gap sealant by using the gap gun.
Cleaning the unnecessary paint drops after finish final coat of paint.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.
Requirements: Certificate III or Certificate IV in Painting and Decorating At least one (1) year of relevant Painting experience Valid Victorian drivers licence.
