Key Responsibilities: Provide efficient and timely assistance to the team of tradespeoplePerform Sand/Grit blasting on large componentsAdhere to the Hofmann Safety Management SystemContribute to a culture committed to continuous improvementPerform general mechanical fitting tasks/dutiesSkills/Experience: Bead/shot blasting experience would be advantageousAbility to read & interpret technical drawings would be advantageousForklift and/or overhead crane ticket/s would also be advantageousMechanically mindedTakes pride in the quality of their work and is focused on resultsMechanical trade background advantageous but not essentialPainting & Surface Preparation knowledge/experience would be advantageousAdditional qualifications would be highly regardedThis role would be ideally suited to someone who has current or prior mechanical experience.
Training in workplace safety will be an ongoing process.
This position is for immediate start.
