The Opportunity
With strong growth in our Brisbane Remanufacturing branch, we are currently on the lookout for an experienced and mechanically minded Trades Assistant to join our Service Department. This is a permanent, day shift position based at our Wacol branch.
Shift Times:
Monday - Friday: 6am - 2pm or 9 day fortnight roster available
Key responsibilities in this role include: Maintaining a high level of accuracy when carrying out final QA inspectionsForklift Operation - Loading, unloading trucks & moving componentsAssisting Tradesmen to disassemble components in line with procedures when requiredMaintaining a clean and tidy working environmentAssisting in stores control including receiving and dispatch of remanufactured equipment and productsConducting your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and proceduresBlasting & painting a variety of machine componentsAbout You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Be mechanically minded with a willingness to learnHave the ability to recognise basic product quality deviations/faultsCurrent Forklift LicenseA strong safety focusAbility to work flexible hours/shifts and overtime when requiredStrong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a teamCommitted to delivering Hitachi's promise of Total Customer SatisfactionBenefits - What's in it for you?
