UGL Utilities are looking for a Truck Driver / Trades Assistant to join the Hunter Power Project team.
The Hunter Power Project is the construction of a 660MW Power Station comprising two heavy-duty open cycle gas turbines, located in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, 35 km west of Newcastle.
About You:
Assist tradespeople by positioning and holding metal stock or products to enable work to be carried out.
Hand tools to tradespeople and hold tools not immediately required.
Perform assembly and dismantling operations, such as screwing and bolting.
Obtain store supplies necessary to complete a set task, including both materials and suitable tools.
Transport tools, materials, and work pieces to and from sites or workbenches.
Key Requirements:
White Card
Ability to work unsupervised or requiring minimal supervision
Leadership ability
Relevant trade qualification or pipe fitting experience
Heavy Rigid or Heavy Combination license
