About the role We are currently seeking an experienced Trades Assistant at our Pakenham depot to support our dynamic team working on the electrical distribution network in a construction, operations, and maintenance environment.
Key Responsibilities include Digging pole holes, earth trenches and general yard/depot dutiesAssisting electrical tradesUndertake Maintenance and Asset inspections in accordance with Client/Company Policies, Quality Systems and HSE procedures as well as statutory requirements.About You To excel in this role, you will have experience as a multi-skilled Trades Assistant in a non-trade support capacity.
Hands-on experience with hand tools and equipmentProven ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentCurrent Australian driver's license (HR Class preferred)High-Risk Work License – Forklift, CN (highly desirable)Blue/White Card (OHS Construction Induction Card)We are a champion of equal opportunity employment and have committed to targets for gender equity and first nations representation in our workforce.
