Trades Technician (Advanced Technician), Palmwoods   Full-time permanent position Monday to Friday based on the Sunshine Coast Global organisation offering career growth and competitive wage rates  Step away from the tools and into a role empowering others   We are looking for a trade-qualified Advanced Technician to join our Palmwoods manufacturing site.
Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, your primary responsibility will be to coach production operators and technicians in best practices and to develop skills in autonomous maintenance through effective systems and documentation.

In this role you will report to the Continuous Improvement Manager and your working week will consist of Monday to Friday.
Technical Skills & Experience Required   Proficient in safety protocols with experience in LOTO and proactive hazard reporting.
Develop and implement Corrective Action plans, and put in place effective Preventative measures to prevent repeat issues from developing.
Perform root cause analysis to prevent losses and machinery related downtime, recommending and implementing solutions to maximize efficiencies and to ensure production capabilities are achievable.
Ensuring maintenance area and work area around machinery being worked on is maintained as required by Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), housekeeping and food safety standards.
Drive continuous improvement activities on equipment and processes and participate in cross-functional improvement teams.
