Our client are a dedicated town planning firm offering comprehensive project services throughout Queensland. Our primary goal is to deliver superior planning solutions that promote sustainable and economically viable built environments. With expertise spanning various planning facets such as development, expert testimony, strategic planning, and public policy, we cater to a wide array of industries and operate in urban, regional, and rural contexts

THE ROLE

Due to recent growth we are looking for an experienced town planner to join our team. We engage in a broad spectrum of projects throughout Queensland and collaborate with numerous prominent developers, architects, and operators in the state. We currently have 10 staff and are growing. Office is based in the cbd.

DUTIES

• Drafting, submitting, and overseeing development applications; • Initiating strategic planning and policy projects; • Evaluating planning schemes and interpreting legislation; • Offering planning guidance across diverse local government areas and development types; • Participating in statutory development assessments; • Conducting planning research and investigations; • Assisting team members in meeting client needs as required. 


ABOUT YOU
1-4 years experience in a similar role An understanding of town planning principles and methods and the ability to apply them; Foundational knowledge of the Queensland planning framework; Ability to clearly convey information and ideas; Be proactive and enthusiastic, with a keen interest to learn and be challenged; Ability to critically analyse; Good organisation and time management skills;
