Newmont Australian Operations are located in Western Australia, the Northern Territory, and New South Wales with roles in operations, projects, and exploration. Regional Support is provided from our offices in Subiaco and Melbourne.

Opportunity exists to join our Total Rewards team for the Australia region as the Total Rewards Analyst. This role will provide analytical and specialist support in both remuneration and benefits for the region as well as supporting global Total Rewards initiatives and projects.
Key Responsibilities include: Support the annual Reward and Recognition Cycle, which includes annual salary reviews and various bonus programs Act as a subject matter expert for site and Business Unit HR teams and Business Leaders Participate in external salary surveys and support analysis of salary survey results Play an active role in the implementation of global compensation and benefit programs Assist with benchmarking Newmont's benefits offerings, conduct cost analysis and proposals Assist with the management of Total Rewards Benefit programs offered to employees When you join Newmont Australia, you are joining an organisation that boasts a working culture we are truly proud of; one of respect, diversity and inclusion.

Previous experience in Remuneration and Benefits function with complementary qualifications in human resources will be required. 
Complementary skills we will be looking for include:
Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel knowledge. High attention to detail. Proactive and able to work independently. Ability to communicate effectively to a wide variety of people (written and verbal) ensuring you build strong working relationships. Ability to manage time and tasks effectively, be task orientated and able to achieve goals in set time frames. High standard of work ethic and confidentiality with a professional and mature disposition. Good understanding and ability to apply and comply with Company Policy, Standards & Procedures.
