An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional located in Brisbane or surrounding areas (Gold Coast).
We are looking for an experienced auditor to work with our senior auditors and help grow client services and business management within the region.
About the Role Reporting to the Director - ESM, you will be responsible for the operational assignment of tasks, development, client management & product delivery in Queensland ensuring that a high quality of customer service is provided to all clients and potential clients.
The main responsibilities include:
Undertake and manage fire safety audits, annual certification of building and compliance management, occasional National Construction Code compliance audits. Coordinate, manage and witness Systems Interface Testing. Travel to remote regional and interstate destinations to represent the company, complete building audits, testing and meetings as required. Lead a small team of auditors maintaining a culture of high performance. Mentor and coach staff in the audit/compliance team to obtain registration where required. Motivate the team to achieve sales targets and budgets through exceptional leadership, organisational plans and customer service. About You Ideally you'll bring with you the following:
Background in building construction, building services or facilities management. Previous experience leading a small team. The ability to successfully identify and evaluate risk to buildings. Extensive fire protection installation and maintenance experience. Proficient knowledge of the AS1851, AS2118, AS1670, AS1668 and other fire related standards. An attention to detail and ability to proficiently create fee proposals/ tender responses and write reports in a timely manner. Proficiency with digital technology and industry apps (UpTick preferred). Current Australian Drivers Licence. Have a general understanding of NCC, BCA and/or WHS/risk identification/evaluation to existing buildings. FPAS – Accredited Practitioner – Fire Safety in NSW is an advantage.
