A permanent full-time opportunity has become available with Blue Dog Training, Australia's trusted provider of White Cards and an award-winning training provider in construction and engineering for over 20 years.
We are seeking a qualified Trainer/Assessor with construction industry experience to join the Blue Dog Training team and deliver White Card training sessions on the Gold Coast (Miami). Flexibility is requested to travel to Milton to deliver workshops from the Head Office as required (approx once/week).
The focus of this role will include:
Delivering practical and engaging training sessions daily (mainly face-to-face) for White Card students (CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry).Adapting your training approach to support individual learner needs (we are seeking your industry experience on construction worksites to support your ability to share examples and offer first-hand experiences that will assist students with understanding and applying training material).Ensuring training aligns with industry best practice and compliance requirements.Marking short answer responses to questions (in accordance with solution guide), making assessment decisions and providing feedback and support to students to help them achieve their goals.Navigating LMS and maintaining accurate records of training and assessment.Providing support with online students and undertaking associated training, assessment and administrative tasks as required.This role requires an engaging communicator to facilitate practical training sessions on working safely in the construction industry.To be considered, you should demonstrate:
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and AssessmentEligibility to obtain a Working with Children Suitability Card (Blue Card)Industry experience working on construction worksitesHigh level communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and presentation skillsConfidence learning and navigating computer systems with sound keyboarding skillsWe are seeking your availability to commence in January 2025 and a base wage upwards from $85,000 (plus superannuation) will be negotiated based on the skills and industry experience that you bring to the role.
