Logistics Coordinator – St Kilda Road, MelbourneThe RoleA unique opportunity for an experienced logistics professional to join the Toll 4PL business based out of St Kilda Road, Melbourne. Toll Group has partnered with the Commonwealth to create a scalable and agile procurement and delivery solution to streamline and improve the purchase and distribution of commodities to the Department of Defence. This role is the conduit between customer, supplier, and products.
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our Government & Defence function based in St Kilda Road, Melbourne. As the logistics coordinator, you will:
Manage transport providers to deliver on service offer (DIFOT).Review & develop processes that create greater efficiencies and decreased delivery timeframes.Manage transport providers locally to enable effective and efficient supply chain solutions.Ensure standards are achieved on all packaging, labelling, quality, paperwork of all deliveries for the Commonwealth.Ensure the accuracy of freight details between Toll systems and carrier systems.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need:
5+ years' experience in warehousing / logistics / distribution.Supplier relationship management.Experience in working across multiple systems (ERP, MS Office).Understanding of Australian transport rules and regulations.General freight / consolidation / transport experience.What moves you?
