HR People Partner - Olympic Park, Sydney NSW

You will partner with business units nationwide, supporting leaders and employees across our Government and Defence operations.
You'll be part of a globally connected HR team with specialists across Employee and Industrial Relations, Talent Acquisition and Management, Organisational Development, and Compensation and Benefits.

As an HR People Partner, you'll drive key HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with both immediate and long-term business goals.
Your work will span:
Support the delivery of HR strategies tailored to business objectives.
Gain in-depth proficiency in Workday, handling transactions related to learning and development and performance management.
Provide hands-on support in employee relations, case management, and disciplinary matters, offering guidance on policies, performance, investigations, and compensation.
Advise on industrial instruments, Australian employment law, and Modern Awards; escalate complex issues when needed.
Manage the employee lifecycle comprehensively, including transactional HR tasks.
Regularly visit key Brisbane or Sydney sites to maintain a strong presence.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
At least 3+ years in a senior HR advisory or business partner role, with 5+ years in a similar industry and a focus on HR operations and business partnering.
Strong understanding of Australian employment law, Modern Awards, HRIS systems, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field.
