About the Role
As an Accountant, you will play a vital role within our finance team, contributing to various accounting and financial activities for the TMGM Group. You will support senior accountants in day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accountant with 2-3 years of experience to expand their skills and help drive the financial success of the organization.
Responsibilities Accounting & Related Processes:
Actively participate in daily financial processes (e.g., Accounts Payable, Treasury, and cash management) to assist in maintaining financial control. Bookkeeping and full-set accounting, including tasks such as bank reconciliation, intercompany transactions, lease and fixed asset management, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Help organize and retain supporting documentation to ensure audit readiness. Assist in refining processes and controls to enhance operational efficiency and quality. Statutory (Financial / Taxation / Compliance) & Management Reporting:
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports regularly, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Assist in various tax compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate filings and adherence to local tax regulations. Collaborate with external auditors, tax agents, and service providers to ensure timely completion of audits, tax filings, and other service engagements. Financial Analysis, Cost Analysis & Budgeting:
Support the preparation and monitoring of budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals and forecasts. Assist in analyzing financial performance, comparing actual results to budgets and forecasts to identify variances and propose corrective actions. Perform cost center analysis and reporting, tracking financial performance of various departments or business units and ensuring costs are properly allocated and managed. Assist in financial modeling and scenario analysis for strategic planning. Communication & Collaboration:
Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure requests and inquiries are attended to promptly and accurately. Work closely with other team members to ensure the smooth execution of team functions and deadlines. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or a related field. 2-3 years of accounting-related experience. CPA or CA qualified, or currently studying towards the certification. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Mandarin fluency is a plus but not required. Experience in AFSL, trading platforms, financial services, or fund management is an advantage. Previous experience in a mid-tier or larger firm environment is welcomed. Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
