Timesheet Analyst

Woodside Energy are seeking a Timesheet Analyst to review and analyse employee timesheets to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
This will be a 6 month contract with potential to extend.About the FunctionEnable the business to achieve strategic goals while ensuring appropriate safeguards are in placeProvide data-based insights and analytical guidance to drive improvementEnsure our shareholders' capital is allocated in a way that generates optimal value.Duties & Responsibilities:Responsible for reviewing and analyzing employee timesheets to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.Provide feedback to common issues with timesheet for improving the process.Assist in improvement projects with timesheet and time writing.Ensure work is compliant with all statutory requirements, including tax, SOX and audit compliance and Woodside Code of Conduct.Skills & Experience:To be successful in this role, you will need demonstrated experience in an accounting / finance / bookkeeping capacity.
Accounting qualifications are not mandatory, although you may be studying towards an accounting qualification or professional certification.
A working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP is of benefit.Ideally you will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:SOX activities – SOX control compliance, and SOX control testing support;Cost Accounting – understanding of cost allocation processes.
