Our client is one of Australia's leading construction companies with a diverse portfolio of commercial, education, health & government projects up to $300M, and a strong pipeline of upcoming work over the coming years.
They are now looking for multiple Supervisor / Foreman to help deliver several large scale projects in the inner suburbs & south east suburbs of Melbourne.
These roles are for candidates with experience across Structure, Services, Civils & Ingrounds.
Roles & Responsibilities:Conducting site inductions for staff and sub-contractorsManaging the subcontractors to ensure they are fulfilling their roles and responsibilitiesMonitor subcontractor performance daily in regards to safety, quality and programme and report deficiencies to the Site ManagerAssisting the Site Manager in the commissioning and handover of the project by ensuring all relevant documentation is completed and provided to the Project ManagerManaging cost control for certain aspects of the project, as directed by the Site Manager, in order to ensure the project meets its required performance targets in relation to budgetDesired Experience:Trade backgroundPrevious experience working for a head contractor is essentialExperience working on commercial projects is highly desirableProven experience as a General Foreman working on commercial projects from start to finish.Proven experience of effectively managing a team including sub-contractors, in a professional manner and ensuring longevity of relationships.Good understanding of health and safety legislation and requirements, has proven experience of effectively controlling site safetyFor any questions relating to this role or other opportunities with D&B and our clients please contact Billy Marotta on 0420 941 667 or click apply.
