About the opportunity:
Position: Senior Clinician (Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Psychologist)
Vacancy: Fixed term temporary full-time basis, commencing ASAP up to 26/01/2025, with the possibility of extension, not exceeding 12 months.
Location: Townsville
The Townsville Early Action Group (EAG) is a multi-agency group of representatives from various government agencies. The Townsville EAG provides early intervention, case management and coordinates wrap-around support to young people (and their families) who have had minimal contact with the youth justice system. EAG brings a whole of government strategic and operational response to address complex cultural, social and economic factors that negatively impact at-risk young people and families.
All employees of the Mental Health Service Group may be required to work in other areas of the service.

Proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association. Travel: Please note, from time-to-time this position will be required to travel to, and work at, other facilities located within the Townsville, North West and Mackay Hospital and Health Services to participate in meetings for planning, quality, performance, training and education, or clinical activities. This may involve day and/or overnight stays. Travel on small planes or ferry may be required. The successful applicant/s will need to be able to commit to this requirement. Possession of class C drivers' licence. This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
