As a key member of the Field Services team, you will be leading a small team providing onsite IT support to one of our key Managed Services clients.
This is a 5 days a week onsite role located in Townsville, QLD.
This role requires someone that has the ability to solve complex, high-impact challenges faced by our customers in a timely and efficient manner.
You will be responsible for proactively managing our client's IT environments and providing ongoing BAU support as well as timely management of any major incidents across your client base.
Your key responsibilities:
Provide up to L3 support for service delivery teams and resolve technical issues Provide onsite support at client locations on behalf of service delivery Manage a small team of IT Support Engineers Problem management Overseeing projects/Implementations for the client Ensure service quality through technical competence and attention to detail Work with Senior Consultants and Account Management staff to ensure effective management of the client base Identify opportunities to productise new services and offerings Utilise your technical specialist skills to help build new products Develop new strategies to increase efficiency in the systems Perform system analysis and recommend improvements Key skills and qualifications required to be successful:
Minimum of 5 years IT experience A Blue Card (Queensland Working with Children's Check) or the ability to attain one People Leadership Skills Advanced experience with Windows Server and Desktop Ability to administer an active directory environment A good level of understanding of virtualised/Cloud environments such as VMWare/Hyper-V and Microsoft Azure Break Fix Analysis and root cause analysis Liaise with 3rd Party Vendors Ability to act as a point of escalation for complex issues and major escalations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to travel to client site daily Proven ability to work within and across teams Industry based certifications Note: As part of our hiring process, you will be required to undertake a Technical test and a National Criminal History Check.
