Management (Information & Communication Technology) Full time Operating as a trusted Information Services business partner, you will lead the IS function which will encompass policy development, data & asset security, infrastructure projects, and BAU support activities for all stakeholders.
You will manage a small, stable and experienced IS team and collaborate, participate in and support a multi-year, organisation-wide digital transformation program which is underway.
In respect to the transformation program which is led by a Program Manager, you and your team will contribute valuable insights and recommendations to the full range of project planning, delivery, configuration and testing activities and take the lead to deliver selected infrastructure related projects.
Progressively, you will take 'functional support ownership' of new and / or enhanced systems and processes.
It is also anticipated that progressively, infrastructure and business applications will transition to the cloud and SaaS solutions and accordingly, technical infrastructure support and expertise will be outsourced to established and / or new vendors.
As a result, there will be significant planning, commercial negotiation and vendor contract management elements in your role.
Proactively leading the team and coaching / supporting their broader professional development is an important responsibility.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Provide proactive, supportive leadership and guidance to the IS team to achieve responsive, efficient and effective service delivery and support to the business and to the external customer base as required.Internal IS Service Management: Take 'ownership' of the IS function to support the organisation, including developing policy, procedures, ensuring data and infrastructure asset security, selected vendor management and team leadership.Champion/Lead IS Service Improvement: Lead the effort to significantly improve the level of IS service and support to system users within the business, educating, encouraging, coaching and supporting the uptake of the new and/or enhanced system/process features emerging from the digital transformation strategy and program.External IS Services Management: Review and analyse current policies, internal practices, resources and contractual arrangements in respect to technical systems and infrastructure support and make considered recommendations in respect to outsourcing technical support to external providers.Project Management: Take the lead to deliver selected infrastructure asset upgrade projects end-to-end with the support of your team members and PMO staff as required.Cyber Security: Oversee the organisation's cyber security program, developing appropriate cyber security policy, standards, and processes as required.Vendor Management: Manage vendor contractual arrangements in a commercially astute manner and lead negotiations with established vendors and potential new providers as required.Qualifications and Experience Required: To secure this rewarding position, you will ideally hold a tertiary degree in a relevant IT discipline, business information services, technology or equivalent relevant experience.
Your qualifications will underpin your sound experience and success in establishing a 'customer-focused' functional/team culture and leading/developing/supporting your IS team members in the delivery of IS management services to a SME business.
A broad, business-focused 'all-rounder' IS support management background encompassing a range of different business domains, such as financial, operational, information technology, customer management, asset management, operational technology and ideally, some experience with ERP system management, is preferred.
