HR Team Lead
We are currently working with a Tier 1 mining company who is looking to engage an experienced HR Team Lead.
Location: Perth, possible site visits
Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Team Lead to partner with the business during an exciting period of change and restructure. Reporting to the HR Leadership team, you will play a critical role in managing, supporting, and developing a team of HR professionals across a large portfolio while aligning operational and transformational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of HR professionals, overseeing a large portfolio. Collaborate with the Iron Ore leadership team, ensuring alignment between operational and transformational goals. Engage with key stakeholders, building awareness and understanding of the evolved HR model across the organisation. Utilise your strong knowledge of shared services operations, particularly payroll and HR processes, to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Demonstrate flexibility and a broad focus across various HR functions, operating at multiple levels of detail. Manage high-volume, high-impact workloads, balancing complex stakeholder relationships in a matrix environment. Provide coaching and guidance to business leadership to enhance effectiveness in people-related activities. Lead and implement key internal projects and initiatives, including continuous improvement and standardisation, aligned with the People Services Regional Operations team. About You:
Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline. Proven experience managing key stakeholders and influencing leaders across the business. Extensive experience managing and implementing complex change programs at a business level. Ability to assess the complexity of organisational change, recommending the necessary efforts, capabilities, and resources to ensure successful delivery. Demonstrated leadership skills with a strong ability to coach and facilitate leaders and team members. Significant experience in a Generalist HR role, with site-based HR experience in the resources sector preferred. Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse large datasets and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Proficiency in using SAP, Workday, and other HR systems, with a strong understanding of the importance of data management and accuracy. Experience in team leadership, case management, coaching managers, and managing change implementation. Benefits:
