Working with our Medical Indemnity insurance - Business Change and Improvement team, this key role is responsible for managing delivery and enhancement of critical complex business processes and business changes that involve multiple departments or functions within the organisation.
This role plays a pivotal role in planning, delivering and tracking execution activities, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and driving delivery within timelines and budgets.
This role involves coordinating diverse teams, fostering collaboration, and driving progress to achieve desired outcomes.
Key accountability: Lead the planning and initiation of cross-functional critical processes and initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to define scope, objectives, delivery schedule and outcomes.
Develop comprehensive delivery plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements, to guide execution.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, assigning roles and responsibilities, and facilitating effective communication and collaboration throughout the initiative lifecycle.
Monitor progress, tracking milestones, identifying risks, issues, and dependencies, and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure initiative success.
Facilitate Working Group and Governance meetings and regular stakeholder check-ins to discuss and communicate initiative status, updates, assess progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with objectives.
Promote a collaborative and solution-oriented approach to overcome challenges.
Facilitate post-initiative reviews and lessons learned sessions to capture insights, identify areas for improvement, and document best practices for future iterations.
Participate in and represent the business in larger change programs or BAU forums, ensuring requirements are incorporated into scope and delivered in a way that achieves organisational outcomes.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation and encourage effective cross-functional problem solving.
Key skills and experience required: Proven experience in project delivery roles, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional initiatives to completion.
Ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and foster collaboration across different departments and levels of the organisation.
Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, navigate ambiguity, and lead teams through uncertainty.
Pragmatic and comfortable making decisions where needed to make progress.
Driven to identify opportunities for improvement and work with key stakeholders to influence positive process change.
