Thomas Foods International Feedlot is a key operation in growing, supplying, and distributing premium meat to the world and forms part of the agricultural division of Thomas Foods International, one of Australia's largest family-owned businesses.
The Feedlot with a 27,000 standard cattle unit capacity is located in Tintinara, South Australia, and is a key partner of the new Murray Bridge Processing Plant.
About the role
The Feedmill Leading Hand, reporting to the Feedmill Supervisor, is responsible for all activities pertaining to feeding and milling operations including a primary emphasis of maintaining quality standards and maximising efficiency within the Feedmill department.
Working in our modern and semi-automated Feedmill facility, you will work closely with the Feedmill Supervisor to assist with planning and scheduling of activities, ensure loading, mixing and delivery of ration is executed in an accurate and timely manner, temper and mill grain and operating machinery including feed trucks, loaders, telehandlers and tractors.

Experience with Feedmill operations, including tempering and milling grain High level of proficiency of feed truck operation Heavy machinery operation experience is desirable Sound practical problem solving skills Sound time management and organisation skills Benefits and perks
