DescriptionSteel Fixing: Tie steel components such as reinforcing bars and mesh according to approved shop drawings, specifications, and operating procedures.Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and meet project deadlines.Safety Compliance: Maintain a strong focus on safety, adhering to all company safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.Fast-Paced Environment: Manage multiple tasks and adjust to a high-volume production pace while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.Quality Control: Ensure that all steel fixing work is completed to a high standard, meeting the required specifications and tolerances.Maintenance Support: Assist with equipment maintenance, such as checking and cleaning tools or machinery, to ensure safe and efficient operations.Equipment Operation: Where applicable, safely operate equipment like overhead cranes, forklifts, and other machinery to assist with tasks.ProfileSteel Fixing Experience: Previous experience in steel fixing, including tying steel reinforcement and mesh, is required.Ability to Read Shop Drawings: Ability to interpret and follow detailed shop drawings and specifications to ensure correct installation of steel components.Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks, such as lifting and handling heavy materials.Teamwork: Ability to work well within a team, collaborate effectively, and support colleagues to achieve shared goals.Precast Concrete Experience: Previous experience working with precast concrete products is an advantage.White Card: Work Health and Safety certification (desirable but not essential).Forklift License: A valid forklift license is desirable, especially for moving materials and equipment on site.Overhead Crane Experience: Experience with operating overhead cranes is an advantage.Job Offer$40.00 per hourOngoing positionsShift times of 7:30AM - 4:00PM
