About the role
The Associate Midwife Unit Manager - Birth Suite is responsible for providing and coordinating all aspects of quality care for women presenting to the Birth Suite for assessment and birthing.
The Associate Midwife Unit Manager must be able to demonstrate excellent time management skills, sound clinical skills and work as an active team member.
The Associate Midwife Unit Manager accepts the responsibility of clinical coordination of the Birth Suite and deputies in the absence of the Maternity Services Manager.
We are looking for:
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Nurse/Midwife Minimum of 5 years' postgraduate Midwifery experience Fetal Surveillance Level 3 Committed to delivering care that is woman-focused and family-centered Demonstrated expert clinical leadership, experience and knowledge related to maternity care in the health care sector Self-motivated with high level of communication, organisational and time management skills Sound problem-solving skills If qualifications are a requirement for this position, please attach a copy in support of your application.
