About The Role: We are currently seeking a Senior Warehouse Specialist to join our Group Assets team based in Welshpool.
As the Senior Warehouse Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring warehouse inventory is effectively managed within the group's governance framework whilst meeting the operational needs of our Australian projects.
Additionally, this role will drive a hands-on approach to warehouse process and service level improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the warehouse management system is utilized effectively on all sites to ensure consistency and transparency across the business and records are maintained accurately.
Governance of warehousing processes to ensure Thiess Operations are aligned.
Regular and ad-hoc reporting to monitor and improve warehouse performance.
Ongoing warehouse procedure and systems training.
Monitoring of warehouse stocktake requirements, ensuring governance and process compliance.
Coordinate warehouse mobilisation and demobilisation tasks.
Support continuous improvement projects and provide technical knowledge to support warehouse operation.
Support warehouse operations reviews and audits.
About You:
A qualification in supply chain, preferably in inventory or warehousing.
Extensive inventory and warehouse management experience.
Experience in asset maintenance warehousing and inventory management processes.
Proficiency in Excel and inventory management software.
Ability to listen and communicate clearly to influence stakeholders (verbally and in writing).
Ability to travel to site as required to lead warehouse improvements and support requirements.
An unrestricted "C" class driver's licence.
