About the role As our next Site Administrator reporting to the Project Accountant, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results. Working a 5/2 4/3 roster, you will provide comprehensive and professional administration support to the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP) department and the Finance and Administration team.
Key aspects of this position will see you:
Preparing monthly accruals and reconciliations by required deadlines. Managing subcontractor's time sheets, hour reconciliations, invoices, payments & ensuring information is timely and accurate. Creating requisitions and maintaining CHPP accounts payable workflow. Completing inventory reconciliations of major components. Collaborating with key CHPP suppliers in relation to any procurement queries. Scanning CHPP work orders and subcontractor timesheets. Facilitating CHPP team queries, purchase orders and any ad hoc requests. Assisting the Administration team with ad hoc tasks where required. About you This position is ideally suited to someone who has worked in the mining or an allied industry and has the following skills:
Strong administration experience with exposure to a maintenance, mining or heavy industry environment being highly regarded. High level of proficiency with MS Office; particularly Excel. Proficiency in JDE or equivalent business procurement system. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High level of attention to detail. Data Entry experience or financial administration exposure (desirable). Strong work ethic with a positive can-do attitude. What Thiess can do for you 9-day fortnight roster (5/2/4/3).
