We have casual position available from February 2025, working 2 to 3 days per week supporting clients in our lower southwest region, including Manjimup, Bridgetown and Nannup. As a Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction of allied health professionals in the identification of goals, development and implementation of appropriate strategies to achieve the desired outcomes for customers.
Your key responsibilities will include:Participating in tasks related to the assessment of clients' functioning under the direction of allied health professionals.Organising the therapy environment and equipment as requested by the therapy team.Creating, adjusting and maintaining individualised client resources as requested by the allied health professional.Assisting or carrying out interventions with clients, individually and in groups, under instruction from allied health professionals.Ensuring relevant staff are aware of any service delivery issues as soon as it becomes evident.Keeping accurate records of client and support services as per the requirements of CRM and other reporting mechanisms.Being responsible for, understanding and implementing Therapy Focus Occupational Safety & Health procedures.What makes you the right candidate?Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health/Therapy Assistance or equivalent.Ability to build rapport easily and a personal interest in supporting people with disabilities and their support networks.Previous experience working with children or people with disabilities.High level planning and organisational skills to plan a program of activities within set guidelines.Ideally have previous experience working with clients from culturally diverse backgrounds.Ideally have previous experience working under the NDIS framework within the disability support sector.All successful candidates must have or be willing to obtain a Drivers License, WCC, National Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.What's in it for you?Maximise your earnings with salary packaging up to $15,900 for living expenses and $2,650 for meals and entertainment - boosting your take-home pay.Access to discounted gym and pool facilities across WA for you and your family.Stay covered for less with discounted health insurance.Flexible work arrangements.Work essentials provided, from tech to uniform, plus fully compensated travel and free parking at all Therapy Focus sites.Comprehensive care; supporting your medical, safety, and mental health needs through life's ups and downs.Celebrate excellence with our annual peer-nominated awards.Discover job satisfaction while making a meaningful impact.Be part of a values-driven team with career progression opportunities.Start your journey with Therapy Focus.
